OPTOMETRY CLINIC

The Optometry and Vision Science (OVS) department was established in 2013, and from its first days, it provided the students with the required knowledge and hands on state-of-the-art optometric instrumentation to be able to handle clinical work to offer the community with better ocular health services upon graduation.

The OVS optometry clinics open their doors to the public to benefit from eye health services such as: vision assessment, prescribing vision aids, referral to ophthalmologists, etc. In addition to that, the OVS department staff and students do awareness sessions for the public to shade the lights on different refractive statuses of the eye and ocular diseases to prevent any serious eye conditions.

The Optometry Clinic at the National Wellness Network (NWN) offers comprehensive eye examinations in addition to a variety of services. The facility is available to MUBS students, staff, faculty, and the general public. As well as providing excellence in eye care, the clinic will be used as a teaching facility for educating undergraduate and postgraduate optometry students.
The center’s clinic has state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment that provides the best in patient eye health management.

  • Full Eye Care Service
  • Vision Test (Visual Acuity Test, Objective & Subjective Vision Tests, Binocular Vision Tests).
  • Ophthalmologist Consultations
